Flash Flash Flash

 SOOC (Straight Out Of the Camera)

Let's Go Reciprocal!

  Reciprocal is a law of a relationship between aperture and shutter speed. It allows to reatin the same exposure or to balance but change either the shutter speed or the aperture.

Base
Shutter Speed: 1/100
Aperture: F8.0
ISO 400

Changed the aperture and ISO
Shutter speed: 1/100
Aperture: F5.6
ISO 200

Changed the shutter speed and ISO
Shutter speed: 1/25
Aperture: F8.0
ISO 100

Changed the shutter speed and aperture
Shutter speed: 1/60
Aperture: F10
ISO: 400

Force perspective

 It's too hard to think a force perspective shot. I tried different poses but I come up with this one. I know it's not perfect, if you can see the girls t-shirt and her hair it's too obvious hahahaha! When my cousin saw this I asked her "Nakaupo ba sila?" Then my cousin agreed so I chose this.

Bokeh :)

Bokeh japanese term for blur.

Fooooooood!

In taking a picture of a food it has to be look delicious or yummy in others eyes. The tips for making a good composition check if the plate is clean, you need some garnish to add some color to your composition and the best lighting is back lighting.

Lighting Patterns

* Butterfly Lighting

     Butterfly lighting is aptly named for the butterfly shaped shadow that is created under the nose by placing the main light source above and directly behind the camera. It is most often used for glamour style shots and to create shadows under the cheeks and chin.

* Loop Lighting

     Loop lighting is made by creating a small shadow of the subjects noses on their cheeks.

* Rembrant Lighting

     Rembrandt lighting is so named because Rembrandt the painter often used this pattern of light in his paintings, as you can see in his painting. Rembrandt lighting is identified by the triangle of light on the cheek.

* Split Lighting

     Split lighting is exactly as the name implies – it splits the face exactly into equal halves with one side being in the light, and the other in shadow. It is often used to create dramatic images for things such as a portrait of a musician or an artist. Split lighting tends to be a more masculine pattern and as such is usually more appropriate or applicable on men than it is for women.

ALPHABET PHOTOGRAPHY

MONEY MONEY MONEY SHOTS

EXPOSURE TRIANGLE

     Photographs are important to us because it depicts memories. This past few days I found out that there is FOREVER, photos are forever. If photos are important to us, we could learn a things. We could make photos sharp, a blurred face doesn't really look good, take good shots when there is not much available light and we can make a good composition. Choose the right lens is key to shooting. Knowing your lenses is vital to your survival.

3 Exposure Triangle
1. Shutter Speedshutter speed or exposure time is the length of time a camera's shutter is open when taking a photograph.The amount of light that reaches the film or image sensor is proportional to the exposure time. It controls the ambient light.

2. Apperture - the aperture stop of a photographic lens can be adjusted to control the amount of light reaching the film or image sensor. In combination with variation of shutter speed the aperture size will regulate the film's or image sensor's degree of exposure to light. Typically, a fast shutter will require a larger aperture to ensure sufficient light exposure, and a slow shutter will require a smaller aperture to avoid excessive exposure. It controls he depth of field.

3. ISO - Measures the sensitivity of the image sensor. The same principles apply as in film photography – the lower the number the less sensitive your camera is to light and the finer the grain.

Light Paintiiiiing!

  I don't have any idea how to do that light painting photography. One night my friend (his not a normal friend because he is the son of my uncle's boss) ask me if i can do it for him and I said "Yes, of course!" but in my mind "Omg seriously I can't!". But I still try to do it just to impress him hahaha. I set the camera to no flash and the shutter speed was high, and I count 1..,2,3! BOOM!
I've done! He was amazed by that, this picture was taken when we had a summer vacation at Aloa Tree House Village in Marinduque. I didn't expect that I can capture like this one but I know this is still not perfect, not bad for a first timer. (:

We went at UPLB to take some photos with my friends. It was quite difficult, because we wait until sunset to take this photo and I realize that it was too hard to draw on air. Actually we enjoyed to capture some light painting even if we are tired. It was fun! :D

Sketch and Paint

   Sketch and paint this two are commonly we do in a traditional way that we draw it we paint it by our hands. Actually its easy to do it in digital way like this two artworks.
This is my artworks Chloe Grace Moretz again hahaha. I know you know it already lol. Its easy to make but you have to balance the levels and the contrasts. And next is the sketch and paint of New York City. I made this artwork for my finals :).

3D anaglyphs

   When I was in 1st year high school I was in Japan and we went at USJ (Universal Studio Japan) with my family and there was a movie that is 3D but not actually a movie hahahaha. That is my first time to watch a 3D movie. After we watched it I was so amazed not only by the 3D effects but also by the chairs because it moves at the same time. I was pretty amazed by that :). Ok lets move on, I have an artwork that is 3D but I can't show you that because I accidentally lost my flash drive and I don't have the soft copy of it sad to say :(. The first that our prof teach us is the basic one it was so easy to do and you will not take an hour to do that :D. And he teach us more complicated techniques how to do a 3D with a depthmap and it has the gray, black and white color. And yea it was pretty cool when I finished it :).

Hexadecimal and Text portrait

   Colors have many different shades and each of it has different hexadecimal. Hexa means letters and decimal means numbers. '#000000' stand for black and '#ffffff' is white. '#ff0000' is red, '#00ff00' is green, '#ff9999' is pink, '#00ffff' is cyan, '#ff00ff' is magenta and '#ffff00' is yellow. Ofcourse every color has its own hexadecimal and it's to hard to memorize all of it.

   Next is text portrait the first time I saw that kind of portrait is on fb accouunt of my friend and I think that's too hard to make some of it. But when you teach us I was like "omg! that's was so easy (:" and I was so excited to do some more of text portrait. This one is one of my artwork she is Chloe Grace Moretz some of my artworks are her (: because I adore her she's so GORGEOUS!

Text and Logo

   Text in photoshop has many ways can do. It is common that you use text or you type text horizontally but instead of horizontally you can use it vertically. And you can change the font, colors, font size, anti-aliasing (sharp, crisp, strong and smooth), tracking and leading. Tracking it is the space of each letter. And leading is the distance of each word. You can create warped texts and you can use faux bold it means false or fake. At the right corner you can see my name its font style is Showcard Gothic and by using the create clipping mask I put the galaxy image into it.

   Logo is a graphic mark, emblem or symbol commonly used by commercial enterprises, organizations and even individuals to aid and promote instant public recognition. Logo has 3 types the text based for example is the logo of the Coca-Cola.  For emblem or iconic is Nike, Apple, Addidas. And for illustrative or illustration the Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, Wikipedia and etc. There are characteristics of a good logo design. First is to create a simple logo but you can see the meaning into it. Second you can redraw it in the sand. Third make sure that it has two colors or less and lastly from colored version it can be converted in black and white.
